In late 2014 I had the pleasure of helping rebrand WONGDOODY, a nationally recognized Seattle and LA based advertising agency.
The real challenge for the rebrand was the fact that we wanted to accurately capture the energy that is WONGDOODY. The color palette was born out of electric RGB hues so we had to find a way to translate that into print. We ultimately ended up custom mixing three greens to achieve the look. I was tasked with mechanicalizing all printed materials from a full stationary suite to office wallpaper. I went on press checks and was involved in helping determine the best way to set up print-ready files for six color, die-cut, custom ink jobs. In addition, I had a hand in some digital aspects of the rebrand, specifically creating digital assets that could be handed off to the developers. I worked closely with senior designers, Ramon Vasquez and Matt Weitkamp in establishing a comprehensive style guide for the brand for internal and external use.
The new brand launched in Spring of 2015.
